Could you use a guitar pedal ( for example a zoom g2.1u one ) for adding some power to a mic (used for vocals)?

Would it just be a 'weird' tone, or like sucky ? If it would even work duno?

1.Wrong Forum.
2.It would most probably suck.

I have no idea, but the running joke in my old band was that a distortion pedal will improve the singers vocals... We never did it though.
#4
I've seen it done. I prefer using them between the amp and output of an electronic drum kit more though.

Whammy pedal works well on vocals.. It gives some seriously great sounds :P You get pixie-vocals 2 octaves up, and satan vocals 1 octave down... I mean, what more do you ACTUALLY want?

Depends what effects you want on it. reverb and echo and stuff yeah they work, but distortion and OD and stuff is only vaguely effective on opeth style growling.

on the unledded DVD robert plant uses a pedal board for no quarter, so yes give it a shot

I've actually messed around with guitar effects and vocals. Heavy distortion just makes it sound like your overloading a cheap PA system, not good at all. Flanger is kind of cool, it almost sounds like your using autotune. Chorus and phaser is okay, nothing you'd really use in a song. But whammy is pretty awesome.

I would imagine that reverb, wah, tremolo, flanger, and maybe an octave would work pretty alright.
Oh and maybe a delay.

I feel bad looking at porn simply because of the ol' story that a lot of those girls were molested as children, But I've never heard of midgets being molested, so it doesn't matter to me anymore, as that's the only kind of porn I watch.
