I've used neither, but can say I have heard numerous good things about reaper and nothing of mixcraft.

i used to have mixcraft on my old computer. i loved loved loved the interface. i use reaper now tho. i liked mixcraft alott better .

Reaper = win.

I used it for a long time before switching over to Logic Pro 8, i'd have nothing bad to say about Reaper. highly recommended.
