So, guys...

I have to do frickin History coursework in my 1/2 term break. Sucks. I don't have to, but I want to get it done. Gonna be alot of research.

I was wondering, when you guys do work (if...), how do you motivate yourself if you are feeling lethargic? Do you look at the goals ahead or do you just grin and bear it? Or do you procrastinate?

Just wonderin!

I usually feel sorry for myself for a little while, then just get it all over with as fast as possible.

I just remind myself of all the things I'm gonna do when I'm done with it.

Also, I find that the timelocked taser-to-balls-device helps.

Procrastinate, you wait until the last minute to do something, that way you percolate the period of time before you do it. that seems to motivate me.

I think "Get this done and you'll benefit with good A-levels in the long run."

If I get my projected grades, I'll get into a uni about 10 minutes from my girlfriend, who is currently at uni 300 miles away.

Really the only way to truly motivate myself.

I have major problems motivating myself.. but if u spread it out over a few days so its in small chunks that usually works better..

I'm gonna start revising for AS exams this week.. so i need to motivate myself.. mocks when i get back..

but TS if you just get up and do it, its easier.. I remember somedays I did that for GCSEs, I worked the best..

and get excited about it.. sounds stupid, but if u can get it going, you'll really want to do it.. and try not to over plan, otherwise you'll end up resenting that timetable..

I think about what might happen if I don't do the work. I'm in uni so it may be different, but I have a 3.5 and I'll be damned if i mess that up..
Her friends are gazing on her,
And on her gaudy bier,
And weep!-oh! to dishonor
Dead beauty with a tear!
They loved her for her wealth-
And they hated her for her pride-
But she grew in feeble health,
And they love her-that she died.
