What gauge strings are you using?

Generally if you need your trem to be more stable and don't care about feel so much (ie: you don't use your trem a lot), you can max out the claw and run 5 springs.

The bar will be MUCH firmer which can either be a good thing or a bad thing. I find it offers greater control, but some like to drop that bar with their pinky.

i use skinny top heavy bottoms 10, 13, 17 30, 42, 52

i'd like to be able to do harmonic screams and all, that's why i bought the LFR, will it reduce what i'm able to do that much?

It won't change what you can and can't do, it will just make it more difficult.

The tension on the trem is going to be much tighter.

With 5 springs, its MUCH more stable.

Its not a 100% fix as long as the trem floats, but it will help a lot.

I think he was suggesting the use of 5 springs for the greater tension, which the 3 springs will not provide. So, get two more springs.
Indeed.

Well it has different modes to it, like the auction says that thing does too...

go to the website they have video tutorials and info and ****.... but it can do stuff like dive bomb only mode, hard tail, and full floating mode.... and apparently its good for things like if you want to go into drop D without messing up your other tunings...

it sounds like it might help ya out, but from what my friend says, its pretty easy to install and it takes some getting use to with switching between the modes, but you only good turn a couple of the little knobs to get what you want. Just go to their video section, it goes through everything from using it to installing it, its pretty cool
