Oceano remind me of a better Whitechapel
Can't wait till depths is out.

Personally, I don't see them on the same level as Whitechapel but they do have potential.

There's a local deathcore-ish band near me with a black singer that's like 6'10. Whenver they play he just hangs on the ceiling over the crowd. Sh-t's awesome. But on topic, thanks for pointing these guys out to me. I may have to check out more.

Metal is a sub-genre of metalcore since metalcore is more popular therefore better.

A Thousand Times Repent has a black vocalist to.

But this vocalist in Oceano is straigth up scary.

I dislike how all these deathcore bands nowadays have polished up their myspaces so much.

Other than that, i do like the dude's scream and it doesnt sound too generic

EDIT: So this is where fiddy went

Yeah no doubt, but then everyone tries to make theirs flashier than the others and then it starts to get rediculous.

Oceano should give up. Such a disgrace to Chicago. Why not make a mention of a great Chicago band like Weekend Nachos?

since we're on the topic of chicago bands, harm's way has the scariest vocalist in hardcore right now.

I'm friends with the Harms Way bassist/Weekend Nachos singer. I've heard the Harms Way singer is a totally cool dude, but hes a big big dude.

As for Oceano, I love um. They're my hometown boys, and I kinda know um. Adam, the singer, is a totally nice dude.

Abigail Williams
Burning The Masses

Happens more often than you think

Abigail Williams isn't deathcore and has no one black in it.

They brink on it, and their singer's not completely black, but he ain't white.

I love their keyboardist, she's so fit. I also had a pic with her, she is really tiny.

Not particularly impressed by this band, aside from the instrumental title track on the new album...that's a monster.

Hmm judging from your pic you'd fit in more with a fat busted tribute.
