I always play my bass in standard tuning. At band practice we go through the set list in standard once so the vocalist can warm up and then tune down half a step the rest of practice. I tune back to standard when I get home, does a few hours once a week of half-step down tuning require me to get the truss rod adjusted?

It depends. Is your neck straight or curved a lot? If it's curved a lot, you will need to get your truss rod adjusted.
Only play what you hear. If you don’t hear anything, don’t play anything.

Depends. Does your neck bend after the tuning changes?

I just tuned it back to standard a few minutes ago and the neck looks the same as it always has.

It should be fine, ther's only a few things that bend your neck. I think most people just like wiping out the allen key and turning the trussrod.
