so i'm gonna start doin some work on my fender strat. after i install a simple killswitch i'm lookin to put some green leds in the pickgaurd. how would i go about doing this, and would the led lights be on all the time?

From basic knowledge, I would just guess that you'd dremmel a bunch of holes in the pickguard, stick some LED's in there, and wire them all to a battery.

EDIT: Yeah, they'd be on all the time unless you put a switch somewhere in the equation.
If you were crafty enough you could make it so that when the patch cable is unplugged from the guitar the LED's could turn off?

Make the killswitch turn the sound AND the lights on/off, so you have a flashing light show when you use the killswitch!
