They came up with the AVT and later the AVTXT, both being better than the Valvestate imo, but still way too expensive for what they offer. I'd stay away from them, Vox modellers get a far better Marshall sound than those Marshalls.
There's also other modelling amps that are better alternatives, the Line6 Flextone and Peavey Vypyr for examples. Heck, I'd take a cheap little Roland Cube over an AVT any day.
You could even get a Laney VC15 for the price of an AVT50XT, the former being a little tube amp that sounds really nice for the money.
