Recently I purchased a new Original Floyd Rose to replace the old licensed one on my guitar. I have one problem installing it though, the mounting screws will not fit in the old bushings and I know that new bushings are included in the Original Floyd Rose package but i can't seem to remove the old ones. There is a metal plate above the bushings which is screwed down by two screws and I have tried removing these screws but the plate and the bushings still won't come out. What should I do to remove this plate and the bushings? And how should I install the new bushings?
