hey guys
i recently bought a roland cube (30 watt) and was wondering wot effects will be good on it.

i was unsure whether to get a pod or other multi effects pedals.
or whether it is better to buy the pedals individually like dd-1, sd-2.
what will work better with my amp.

i play rock like foo fighters, nickelback and RATM and indie like bloc party, kasabian, kaiser chiefs, cribs, oasis, blur and white lies but i also play stuff like metal and blues.

thanks for your help

choose seperate pedals over a multi-fx anyday man. depending on yr budget though, go for a multi fx if you're fairly new to effetcs to get a ground on what everything sounds like, then you should go nuts and buy all the stuff you like and sell yr multi-fx for drug money (or whatever else you do in your spare time).

id say you should get a nice guitar first. then stuff to go with it.

and yeah wah for RATM, probably some medium OD/Dist. for rock and digitech Screamin' blues for blues.

Emm on the contary the roland cube series is very good and although you may not be able to get the "super awesome tone" you get with a valve amp, you can still get a good tone.

yeah i agree and to "WTF!!!" i think it does make a difference coz all the modelling amp is is a selection of amp sounds and u can hear the difference between my tele on it, the yamaha pacifica, a fender strat and my mates prs custom 22
