Ok, started a band with some mates, but there are only 3 of us.
None of us can sing, and so far we can play some Rush instrumentals but cant think of much else.
Can anyone suggest any artists/music we could play? Preferably classic/prog but i'm open to any suggestions

cheers

But if none of you can sing, go with the latter. Not to trash Jimi's singing voice, but you've got to be an opera singer to emulate Jack Bruce

Also, there is Beck, Bogert, and Appice, as well as ZZ Top
Mother Earth is pregnant for the third time
For y'all have knocked her up.
I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the universe
I was not offended
For I knew I had to rise above it all
Or drown in my own shit.

Other possibilities are the James Gang and Neil Young. While Neil may not have played in very many trios, it's certainly possible to play his music as a trio. Plus, if he can sing, anyone can.
How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.

I guess with Floyd he meant when Roger wasn't a member... but they definitely never played as a trio.

^^Yeah, that's what I figured he meant.

Actually... well, there was that Hall Of Fame induction where Gilmour, Wright and Billy Corgan did Wish You Were Here.

...But I'm looking way too far into this.
