Is there anything different between this guitar: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Deluxe-Nashville-Power-Telecaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=510476
and this one:

I want to get it in white with a rosewood fretboard BTW.

As for my other question: What guitar would you reccomend for no more than $700? I play rock (classic, alternative, punk, heavy, progressive) blues, metal (Metallica, The Mars Volta etc.), and jazz.

Thanks for the help.

The more expensive one has an additional piezo pickup, which can be used to get a tone that sounds somewhat like an acoustic guitar.

I think those guitars wouldn't work too well for Metallica or other sorts of metal. For your tastes, this should work:

It's got a humbucker for heavier stuff and single coils for blues and other low-gain applications.

^ I already have an HSS Strat...The guitars I have already are listed in my profile

Also, do you think its worth it to get the more expensive tele for that acoustic pickup?

+2 those things are the shizz. I like the Highway one strats more than some of the more expensive american strats.

Highway one Strat > American Standard and Some Deluxes

Deluxe Tele > Highway one Tele > American standard

that's my stance on them

Well, do you want your guitar to sound like an acoustic? I personally don't care about it but that's entirely your call.
You could just as well buy a piezo bridge for 200$ or so later on.

^ I would rather buy an acoustic for $200 than have a pickup in the tele that sounds SLIGHTLY like one...

Off topic but, are there any acoustics you recommend for $200 or less?

Only ones I have played are Ibanez acoustics, which were nice imo. But then I don't know sh*t about acoustics to be honest. Better ask in the acoustic guitar section, I think they have a sticky were they list the best cheap acoustic guitars.

i'd rather have the pickup, thb.

for a long time that was the guitar i was going to get.

for $200, it's tight getting an acoustic / electric.

but alvarez + a soundhole pup, might do the trick.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
