I have an old 6 watt Fender Champ (made sometime when CBS bought Fender) that my friend gave me, and i don't know what kind of speaker i should get to enhance the sound of it. I'm on around a $50 budget, and i was thinking of getting the Weber Alnico 15 watt 8" Speaker . Would that be a good speaker for it? I'm looking for crystal clear cleans if that helps, and yes I'm replacing the tubes. Any other speaker suggestions would be great . Thanks everybody.

I'd pop Ted Weber an email talking about what you want as a speaker - he'll let you know what to get.
Weber's a good choice though.

Make sure you need an 8" speaker. My reissue has a 6" speaker, I don't know about yours though. Just double check, because it's much harder (but cheaper) to find a 6" speaker.
