ok well i have been seeing this in lots of tabs.
1------------------------------
2------------------------------
3------------------------------
4------------------------------
5----------5-------------------
6----------6-------------------

or

1------------------------------
2-----------------7------------
3------------------------------
4-----------------6------------
5------------------------------
6------------------------------

where it doesnt have a 0 or x on the other strings. Does that just mean i play those strings and no other strings. But theres no x or 0 so i don't know if i play all the string like a chord or just the strings with numbers.
and on the second ond how do i play that. like do i pluck the two strings with my fingers or what?

ps. i just started playing guitar so if this is an obvious noob question. Sorry

The first tab example is a triad finger those notes and play em the second tab in a octave for this finger that and mute the middle string.

if theres no number in between, you either strum it (if you're good at strumming and muting the string at the same time, or just finger pluck
