Posted in the Electric forum, and then realized I'd get more help here.
Alright, so I'm building my own guitar. Its going to be a Gibson Firebird shape.
Now for the tuners, I need them to be gold, 6 in-line, left hand, and locking.
Also, it says on this Firebird template I have that the tuners are Mini tuners. Do they have to be mini? If I get normal size will it make them impossible to use?

Thanks much.

Get the ones used on the Epiphone Firebird studio, they have a ratio of 40:1 and are meant to be brilliant!

Edit: They're made by Steinberger.

Ooh, I didn't realise that gearless tuners looked so good on a Firebird. Thanks, and I'll definitely check those out!

Good luck with building it, they have to be the coolest guitar in the world!

you could go with Steinberger Gearless Tuners like EL2T said (i would, even though they're a bit expensive) or you could get some grover mini locking rotomatics (cheaper, but only a 14:1 or 18:1 ratio)
