Hi I need help choosing a amp that can be heard over a drumset. I'm stuck between a Roland Cube 60 or a Peavey Vyper 75. Feel free to suggest another amp. My budget is up to $400 and I play stuff like Metallica, Racer X (Paul Gilbert), Testament, AC/DC, and the Beatles. Thank you in advance for your help.

^ do you have individual stompboxes/effects ??
or do you want them all built in inside the amp??

i really think that you should start the pedals collection and buy your first tube amp but if you want to stick with modeling...........fine with me

I would personally prefer a Cube, but most people will say Vypyr. Try them out and see for yourself.

If you're sure you want a modeler, you might also find a used Line6 Flextone in your budget, but if you were to look used you could find a lot of good tube amps.

If all you had to go on was the forum you'd think a Decimator could cure noise caused by dodgey stage lighting and restock the ocean's population of sperm whales
