This is my previous thread, except redone with a poll.

Okay, Ive narrowed my next guitar purchase down to these guys

Fender Telecaster Lite Ash
Fender Telecaster Baja
Fender Telecaster 72 Thinline
Ibanez Artcore Custom AS103
Fender American HSS
G&L USA Legacy HB

Current amp: Peavey Classic 30.

I play to the likes of: Audioslave, The Almost, Angels & Airwaves, Blink-182, Bloc Party, Children 18:3, Coldplay, The Cure, Nightwish, Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, to name a few.

Which one of these guitars, if you were in my shoes, would you get?

Bear in mind Ive personally handled each and every one, and they all feel right to me, which is why I'm asking in the first place.

Just a tip, if you add links for each of those guitars, you'll probably get more help, because it will be easier for everyone to compare them

In my opinion, the Thinline or what I assume is a Fender American Standard HSS Strat? I just think that the Thinline gives you something unique compared to the other Teles, and the American Strat is a solid, versatile choice as well. There's obviously a price difference there though, so in the end you need to just play them both and see what you like better.

as103 or the legacy hb. i think those are most versatile...i have an as93 and it's sick
I'm a dude, he's a dude, she's a dude, we're all dudes HEY!

the ibanez one... i think the thinline is bad, because i hate telecasters and they are HORRIBLE for you to be playing metal or anything like audio slave. i suggest you get the black one which is an axe shape and has a rosewood bound fretboard and a good maple neck, like that ibanez. i like ibanez. boiz.;

Audioslave isn't metal.....

And Tom Morello uses a stock Telecaster for all Drop-D songs in that band...

And thank you for all those who have bothered posting and telling WHY. I need that info, especially considering the two models I suspected would be on top are being just that.

And in rage to, he used one on Born of a Broken man on the battle of new mexico dvd. He didn't use a tele for all drop d songs in audioslave though, they used to cover black hole sun llive and he used a les paul for that.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
