Hi people

my dimarzio cliplock came today and i am having a bit of trouble, it comes with 2 sets of screws

Thicker black ones which are said to be for ibanez models

Thinner Silver ones which are said to be for fender models

The thick black ones seem way to thick and really don't want to go in? Maybe I'm just being over cautious?

The thinner ones go in easier bu still require force

Could anyone help me with regards to this please?

you just gotta screw them in its has to be tight so it holds it in securely. i have them on my bass, and i friggin love them.

Not impressed with this at all,

the clips and knocking up against the paintwork frequently

Neither screw will go in properly without damaging the paintwork

Considering just opening the strap i got with the RG55020TH and putting that on...

1. if the smaller screw seemed to fit, you shoulda used it (just be cautious of the hole trying to strip out, at which point you would go to the bigger screw)
2. i don't think you're supposed to screw them in all the way.
