Im really lokoing into getting a carvin CS6S made for me and im just curious

how heavey incomparison to the old gibson les paul standards is it

i love heavey guitars (im 6'4" and 210lb) so it doesnt bother me

are carvin guitars heavey

eg the CT6 are they as heavey as the PRS customs?

They weigh about the same as PRS. In comparison to PRS, as far as the craftsmanship and quality of the guitar and wood they're identical. When it comes to the hardware, PRS does use better pickups, bridges, and wiring setups.

Another question about carvin guitars?

are thier uncoverd pickups smaller than regular ones?

i heard that some guy had to order the pickups with covers so he could fit EMGs in their

is this the case for just putting say seymour duncans in

I was able to fit an uncovered JB/Jazz set into mine but when I switched to Livewires I had to dremel out the cavities a bit to get them in. You'd also need new pickup rings since Carvins have 3 holes vice the normal 2.
