Ok so Im looking to take my recordings to the next level.
I currently use audacity and am comfortable but feel it is a lacking recording program.
I got acid pro 7 last night but it is a bit overwhelming. Any advice on what I need to get a feel for first and foremost. Im looking to start adding drum and synth tracks to my music aswell know. I was wondering what programs will be best for this?
Is EZdrummer compatable with Acid 7? What can I used for synth tracks?

I use cubase sx3 and i just use the VST drums that are included with it and then EQ them to sound upto scractch, dont bother overwhelming yourself with loads of programs and gear though , you only need a basic set up to get a decent quality recording
