TS basically means the best 3 Humbuckers for a LP

TS it depends what kind of music your taking about

for 80s 70s rock/metal id put a a Super Distortion, a PAF and another Super Distortion (all by dimarzrio)

for modern music id put emg 81, 85 and 60

A Seymore Duncan JB in the Bridge, and a Jazz in the neck.

Well... I'm gonna say Bridge: Duncan JB/Distortion/Custom/Full Shred. Middle: Get a piece of wood and fill it in and refinish, the middle one doesn't do **** for you tonewise. Neck: Jazz, Evo neck, '59, Full Shred.
Current Gear:
LTD MH-400 with Gotoh GE1996T (EMG 85/60)
PRS SE Custom 24 (Suhr SSH+/SSV)
Ibanez RG3120 Prestige (Dimarzio Titans)
Squier Vintage Modified 70s Jazz V
Audient iD22 interface
Peavey Revalver 4, UAD Friedman BE100/DS40

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

Bridge:Super Distortion (DiMarzio)
Mid: Tone Zone (DiMarzio)
Neck: Air Norton (DiMarzio)

Holy crap, that's what I was gonna say, though I'm a bit of a DiMarzio fan boy. I'd even consider Double Tone Zone-ing in the bridge and mid.

Well, if you're gonna do that, why not leave the mid exposed and fill it with smoke bombs so you can pull an Ace Frehley live?

I'm most definitely joking there, by the way.

Oh, because I'm sure it does wonders for the guitars electronics (or the strings. or the guitar itself for that matter) to have them so close to a small incidery (crap, I can never spell that word) device. I've never researched it or anything, but I'm sure Frehley probably ruined a lot of guitars. Or maybe he didn't, who knows.

It's a trick question - there isn't one. 2 buckers is by far the optimum configuration for a Les Paul, 3 just doesn't work all that well and doesn't really give you any additional useable tones.

And the people who said to stick even one Tone Zone in a Les Paul want their heads looking at, never mind two

More guitar, less Ultimate-Guitar.
