my whammy bar wont come out. its been like that ever since I bought it. anyone know why?

whyd u buy it like that then? lol.
it might of got screwed in there wrong if its a strat like whammy. little kid down the street from me did that.
and if its a floyd, then idk floyds get confusing.

thats a nice guitar. i couldnt of passed it up either. maybe try taking it to a repair shop. if it breaks in the bridge your ****ed on that whammy bar.

I am not familiar with the set up on those. i have seen some where there is a small set screw on the side that holds the bar in. Try flipping in around as if you were playing it left handed and look at the side where the bar goes in. No guarantee nut give it a try.

Take the back panel off the trem cavity, and spray some WD40/3-36 on the threads of the arm and the nut that is holding it in. It should come out. Also try this on the top of the bridge if you can get a little down into the nut. Just don't get it on your finish.
