I have an Ibanez S320 and I've just had to replace the strings for the first time.

So I undid the locking nut, the other locking thing behind it, and took the heaviest strings saddle off and took the old string out.

So I put my new string in and I'm wondering where the hell does the ball go? Because when I put the fine tuner back in it's extremely hard to tighten.

Thanks!

T shaped black bit... im not sure what you mean..? Your first mistake was taking the string AND the saddle out.

There's a little Black T shaped thing where the string goes into the saddle.

Don't worry about it, since you said that was a mistake I had a light bulb go off in my head :P

a easyer way of doing it is just putting the string in to were the ball is up near the tuners so that after everything is said and done and you are tuned you can just cut the balls off like you would when you cut the leftovers.
