hey, im thinking about buying a new effect pedal but im kinda stuck i don't know what i want, i have around 200 bucks to spend.i was thinking either an overdrive,delay,or compression/sustainer, if you guys have any suggestions please tell.i play mostly Rock, and metal.

its not finished yet but I plan on getting it when it is. Something that heavey being played thru a fender is pretty sweet. I think anyways. Check it out and see what you think. I also have a VS Jekyl and Hyde that I like but it is a really bright distortion and you may or may not like it for metal. its pretty good for rock though.

bands i like are Rush, Tool,joe satriani , offspring, acdc, metallica, porcupine tree. i was thinking overdrive to push my amp more but i don't know if an overdrive sound is what i want.

look for a good "high gain" OD. the Fulltone OCD is good for this.

i'd say get an ibanez overdrive like the ts9 and a boss dd-3 delay. i'm kind of a delay whor3, but it really enhances your sound in solos and riffs.
