ive almost always been a solo player, and i would never play proper gigs, now im part of my church's Band. and im playing 4-5 songs every week. and i practice once a week. it seems my callouses are changing colour, is that normal? cause i would never play hard out for 30-45 mins. i would always just be messing around and end up going to the pit with a guitar in my lap.

That's odd. Try thoroughly wiping down the strings and the fretboard and see if it helps.

Did you kill a bunch of aliens with it? Awesome.
Maybe putting some soap+water on whatever you wipe the strings with might help?

Mine turn gray after a while of playing and the only thing I can think of is some kind of dust or something off of my strings, so that could possible be why.
