Mother Man by Athiest is great. I listen to a lot of Jazz Fusion, too, with bassists like Jaco and Victor Wooten, so the genre is filled with great basslines. De Profundis has awesome basslines too. And of course, NIB.

That's an awesome instrumental, it's essential listening for any heavy/solo bassist.

My favorite Bass riffs are from Cradle of Filth - Death Magick for Adepts, It's Dark and Driving yet it's Whacky and Playful. Saying that, I'm a GUITARIST so I only play bass parts that are fun.
Gear;
- B.C. Rich Warbeast Bloodbound
- B.C. Rich NT Zombie 5-String Bass
- BOSS GT-10 Multi Effects TANK!
...In other words, I'm taking a giant dump on fender owners who use pods.

Bass solo in Sweet Child O' Mine? You mean the intro?

Bass in Whispers In The Dark by Hanoi Rocks is pretty damn nice.

Most Pixies songs got nice bass. And Joy Division. Can't be arsed to name a single song though.
sometimes I see us in a cymbal splash or in the sound of a car crash
