pit! im seriously stuck here - i have all the parts recorded for one of my bands songs - we recorded each bit separately using terrible equipment and software but its all we could afford so this is actually the best we can do. we played each part through a mic into the computer while playing back the backing tracks through headphones and we knew we were in time when we recorded, but now im trying to mix it down, and the drums are waaay out of time! i think the rest is all in time but the drums are just totally out

can someone help me just get everything in time?
the tracks are here:

You cannot (you can, but let's not go there) fix timing issues on recording.

[quote="'[BurnTheDusk"]']Boss pedals may be built like tanks but I would rather buy a cardboard box that is on my side than pay for a tank that is working against me.
I'll see what I can do with it.

edit: What's the tempo of the original track?

rerecord it... first of all, record a guitar track with a metronome... then record drums with guitar track and metronome and "delete" the guitar track... then record the rest using the recorded drums as a backing track... (first of all bassguitar then guitars and then vocals)

i think there's some free recording software on the web... google it
Actually, nothing seems to be in time with each other, but I still can probably do something with it.

What worries me that I have to make few educated guesses about the song structure itself.

uhh fixing timing issues is one of the big reasons why everyone uses DAWs now, it';s not even that difficult if you know what yo are doing.
make Industrial and/or experimental electronic music? Join my group!

were probably going to try and re record it using the drums as a backing track so dont worry about it, but thanks anyway

ive had a go myself and i can get it in time buy only by hacking the tracks apart and sticking them all back together
