Hey, I'm starting to record (setting up a little studio) and have an electric. I'm going to be using EZDrummer for drums. But, I need a bass so I'm wondering what to get. It needs to be decent quality for recording.

I have never played bass before. I sorta know how to play (youtube). Does anyone think I can learn to play bass correctly without lessons?

I've been playing electric for not even a year I believe. I'm 13 so I can't get all that much money fast.

Thanks!

It's way too quiet for band practice, unless you mic it or something, but for bedroom practice it's ok. For band practice I'd try to save up for a bigger one.
Nope, no sig here.

true. for a band practice your gonan need 10x the power (depending on the other musicians/instruments you are playing with though)

I'm into metal so I know it'd need to be loud. But I'm not in a band (yet...).
