Hey guys, I need your help. Guitar Pro won't show the notes, but it will play them. Sceenshot in a sec.

Re-install the program. It needs to locate the correct text files on your computer to display the numbers.

Are you running it off of a USB? If so it won't work.

I've had this problem, for me, it was because the font that Guitar Pro uses was missing :S

I COME TO THE RESCUE!!!

Unzip this file.
Put the file (not in a folder) directly into your guitar pro folder
Right Click -> Install font
Start up guitar pro
???
Profit

Edit: It's the font, not the whole guitar pro file.

While we're on the topic, does anyone know how to run Guitar Pro off of a USB drive? The same problem with the text shows up when I try it.

You install the font file onto the computer. It is a couple of posts up.

I had this problem first time.

Just restart. It needs to find the correct font file. For some reason it cannot do this if you don't restart after the installation.

Tried that. And I've had this since the summer time, and it just did this today.
