Are there any good Marshalls that I can get used for about $700? There is a DSL401 at my GC for $500, but I hear those aren't that great for the price, idk. I play classic rock, alternative, blues, and some funk. And I'm asking for the usual price on ebay or something, not like a random amazing deal.

Thanks

im not sure what the old jcm800s go for, but they are great sounding amps.

I reckon you should go Ceriatone, man! Build a clone. I really want to but don't have the money or know what I want to build yet.

Try out some traynors (not at GC but worth w/e drive you have to take) they are really good for your particular genre bloc there . and dont worry about getting a half stack... if you want the bass response of a 412 cab then you can buy one after you get a combo.

Marshall are only good if you "know" which Marshall you want, and why you want it.
Most Marshall buyers are attracted to the name.

For those genres and $700 you can do better.
