Hey there. Not sure wether this is the right sub forum as im pretty new here, in the event that it is not, i apologize.

Question is, dude working at local guitar store is interested in buying my strat, it's a '75 one, 100% original, there's some other tuning knobs on it, and a bucker in the bridge position, but i've got both the original tuning knobs and the bridge coil. when it comes to the overall condition of the guitar, it's as close to pristine as you'd get for a gitar from the 70's.

Now the deal he's offered me is a brand new Gibson Les paul, faded honeyburst. as i dont play much on the strat in any case, it's a very tempting offer. I know my guitar is worth some cash as i've had various offers from collectors, but it's been a very large span of prices.

now, to the question, is this a yay or a nay deal for me? guarantee and all comes with the gibson.

here's some pictures:

do ya know what model les paul it is? Studio = ripped off. Standard is fair but anything better would be a great deal considering the age of this strat.
