Ok guys, I have a concert on the 6th march. This will be my first concert. We're one song short and we need suggestions, our setlist so far is
Queen - We Will Rock You
Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name
Avril Lavigne (flameshield) - My Happy Ending
Lostprophets - Last Train Home

We need something energetic, not too difficult and it's got to be popular
Serious suggestion only please

Roses are Red
Violets are Bitchin
God Dammit Woman

I guess I'm kind of like a hippie. I'm anti-war, do drugs, and like communism.
Your not a hippie, just a ****ing moron.

Do a medley of I Want You To Want Me and Surrender by Cheap Trick. ALWAYS goes over well. Not exactky fitting into your setlist too well, but I think if you rearranged it a bit it could.

Yes, you need more to cover that one up and hope the audience forgets it.

Some good suggestions here but with all the classic rock stuff you need to play them well or not at all, and with the time I got I don't think that's feesable, but keep 'em coming

How about playing something even slightly obscure and not cliche/boring/terrible? Really, you should put up a flame shield for every one of those songs. One cover per set is fine unless you're specifically aiming for a cover show.

And even if you're doing a cover show, take a none-rock song and make it rock! We did a good cover of Pendulum - Slam!. Now I normally don't like pendulum at all, but it was really good live.

But seriously. I/we've covered Yourcodenameis:milo, Grizzly Bear, Neutral Milk Hotel, etc. You don't _have_ to play well known stuff. I know if I were in a crowd I'd leave before you ended that set mate.

or since youre already doing an avril song, and you have a chick singer, why not just go ahead and pull another one out of avril's book and do "basket case" like she did. itll be like a girl covering a girl covering..

I've written four or five but I can't put music to them, lyrically, I think they're quite good but I'm sh*t at putting the music in but that's for a different forum
