You should record with the music quieter, makes you hard to hear. It was pretty good though there are a few bits where I think you differed from what Richie was playing and it sounded kind of off, especially in the solo. More specifically: the first note of the solo is a natural harmonic and when he does the trill he also pickslides down the b-string. So i'd work on those and then maybe go for a re-record.

I agree with aaciseric, if you recording with the cd down just a bit it would be easier to hear you. But, from what i could tell you had great tone, hit all the bends and harmonics, etc. Nice work, if you do re-record, I also suggest you look at the solo just a bit more, you played a few different notes. other than that, good stuff!
