I would feel more compassion, but rather than putting on 'Lonely Day' like you suggested, I put on 'Roll To Me' by Del Amitri.

I feel nothing but the urge to run out to a park and swing on a swing set.

But on a more serious note, that really sucks friend. However, guitars are just material posessions just like anything else. A guitar does not make the musician, your hands, head and heart do. You still have what it takes to play a guitar and you should be thankful for that.

Have you ever, you know, thought about trying to find it? Contact pawn shops and guitar stores around you. Due to the fact it's a very distinct and possibly expensive (I don't know) guitar, it couldn't be to hard to track that bitch down. and cruise your neighborhood with a 2x4 with a nail on the end, hit everyone and anyone in the face with it.

Sorry man. I feel for you. I couldn't imagine losing an instrument like that, to a musician an instrument is like family. Thats gotta be tough.

I had to sell my first real guitar. It was like selling a rather large part of my soul.

As I said, just be thankful you still have the ability to play. A new guitar will come along.

Are you asking if midgets can draw people that are themselves smaller than the average person, or if midget drawings in general are smaller?

Thats true. But it is still a material posession and it can always, always, ALWAYS be worse.

Whats done is done and there is no point to regretting the why or the what of what has happened to you. You pick yourself up and you move on the best you can.

That sucks man. Last year when moving, I got a laptop and an Ibanez Artcore bass stolen out of my car.

Compared to your loss, that just seems miniscule now.

THIS.

TS, if you truly love your guitar, listen to this man.
#38
Against instant intuition, I'd say don't buy the same guitar when you're ready to replace it.
If you loved it that much it would just feel cheap to try and recreate what you had.
