As my interest in Blues-rock is growing, I want to approach the black crowes.
Which albums should I start listening to?

Start with Shake Your MoneyMaker and then get The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. I'd probably opt for Lions and then Warpaint after. The Freak N' Roll dvd is excellent, too.

I just rented Shake Your Money Maker and The Southern Harmony and Music, with Live at the Greek with Jimmy Page.
I got to say this: they're now on my top 5 all time favorite bands.

Thanks guys for introducing me to this magic.

I'm not a huge Black Crowes fan (too derivative of the Stones). But shake your money maker is a winner , a lot of good songs on that album.
