Hi guys, basically i am looking for something that can give me less hum and more clarity when playing at higher volumes. During actual playing everything sounds fine, but when i stop for say half a bar during a song, i can hear a fairly loud humming. Is there some kind of pedal that can stop this? i am using a valveking 212 and a schecter hellraiser, and in a couple of days a bad monkey overdrive aswell.

or a cheaper option, free actually, is to simply roll back your volume knob when you are not playing. A little trick I learned from elder guitar players who play with single coils. Roll it back up right before you want to play, simple as that. If you really want a pedal, I've heard good things about the ISP Decimator.

Good luck!
