alright basically, im obssessed with the different accents of the UK, im obsessed with alot of other accents, im just weird like that lol.

could a noble UKer tell me all the specific different accents of the UK?

theres an Irish accent, Scottish accent, theres the obvious ''rich and snobby'' english accent. and isnt there others like somekind of birmingham accent (apparently its pretty different from the others) or like a liverpool accent.

i prly look like an idiot having this weird fascination of knowing all the english accentsm lol

any help on this stuff would be appreciated, thanks much.

p.s. i also find black and brown people with accents really trippy (anyone else thinks so??), it just tweaks my brain and i love it lol holy **** im weird.

No, there is not "an" Irish accent, nor "a" Scottish accent. Believe it or not, Ireland and Scotland have hundreds of regional accents, none of these being English.
Friends, applaud the comedy is over.

I'd dance with you but...

Regional dialects yes, some of these being excellently hilarious. Like the West Country accent. Or the Belfast accent. I myself am from Belfast yet dont have much of an accent.
And i take offense to you referring to Ireland being part of the UK. Its not, only The North is, lamentably.
DOWN WITH THIS SORT OF THING

CAREFUL NOW

I don't find black people's voice trippy at all.
To be honest, I find it annoying as a mother****.
Especially when they have to be loud as **** all the ****ing time.

That's pretty much Hertfordshire only, we speak with an RP accent and have no real defined accent of out own. The rest of England is split up into certain regional accents.

well, the one youll probably hear should you ever come here is the

"OHHHH MAYYYTE! FOOKIN SMASH YERED IN MAYTE! STAB YA WIV A BRICK INNIT?"

This did not really "originate" from any one place, far as I can tell, it just appeared one day.

Now its probably one of the more common amongst the youth of today

I just have a plain English accent with no regional qualities whatsoever

Some might think it is posh, but I would say that is more to do with other accents associated with poorer areas....

The Americans would say i sound like Stephen Fry or Hugh Laurie - I have no problem with that.

I am educated and articulate and that is nothing to be ashamed of - though the Jeremy Kyle generation seem to think otherwise.... - luckily I don't have an alcohol problem and twelve kids by ten different women either....

I would say a really posh accent is the old way of:

Oh hello ---> Air Hair Lair. (read it out loud).
