a new bridge will have less to do with how you sound, and more to how it feels to play.

it'll affect the sound too, i'd have thought. it'll definitely affect how it plays too, though.

not too sure on specific ones, though, i haven't tried enough.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

well tbh i'd just get a nice ashtray bridge with brass saddles - those are actually what has the most influence on your sound, what the bridge is made of/who its made of is of less importance

sounded like the materials being used for the bridges were people...

but yeah, agreed. it doesn't even have to be all that big of a company, just as long as it's well-respected.

I've put the Wilkinson's on my Affinity Tele and Std Tele. I like them and you can get them cheap off eBay.

I've found it to effect sound tremendously, actually. I put a new bridge on my strat and my artcore, and it's at least a 15* change in tonal direction.

For the classic tele sound/feel, the three saddle, brass bridges are optimal, and if you have teh gutz, throw a bigsby on it
