could some one explain how they would mute the high E and what fingers they would use for the pull offs. for the 12's would you bar or use different fingers?

the two notes at 12 fret with middle and ring fingers, pull off to index finger. Mute high E string with the sides of your ring/index finger.

I'd play the 12th fret with my ring and pinky fingers, and pull off to the index finger.

either this way or the way in the post before it, depending on what was played before this passage and after it would determine the most comfortable way.
