Its on the lower body on the side where the plug goes into where the strap is. Its a tiny ding but noticeable. Its in laminate. How bad is this. Its as big as l <---- the L its half the size of that. but i have to return this guitar is it considered used now?

It doesn't hurt the guitar at all, but company policies on returns is usually that the product can be returned for a full refund if it is still in the condition it was in when you bought it.

I agree with cap. You're never going to keep any guitar in perfectly pristine condition. You could always just lie and say it was there when you got it though

Did you buy it at a big box shop like GC or Sam Ash, or did you get it at a small independent music store? The big stores may not even notice it. The small businessman might work something out with you. A reverse layaway or pawn, if you will. Maybe he'll take it back, refund most of your money, and allow you to make payments to get it back. He'll probably want to earn a little extra for the favor, but its worth a shot to ask...
