I find personal top 100 lists a good way to find new music. I wanted to share my top 100 songs with you and invite you (if you can be bothered) to make a list of your own.

I would be interested to hear which songs on my list would also make yours (if any).

I am always open to criticism, but try and make it constructive, as opposed to "that list is shit".

I am well aware that there are some unpopular choice on here. This is a "Favourite" list not "Best" or "Greatest". Many of these songs I love because I grew up listening to them.

Haha, Eminem.

I don't know about mine though. Probably loads of Tool, Meshuggah, Cynic, Kyuss and whatnot. I don't think I have any favorite songs that aren't by one of my favorite bands.

Haha, Eminem.

Eminem is a fantastic lyricist, those first two albums are epic.

That's a pretty cool list. Just looking at the list of my most listened to songs on iTunes, I'd say you and I would have a pretty similar taste in music (minus the rap, not saying there's no such thing as good rap, just saying I listen to very little rap). My most listened to list has a hell of a lot of Silverchair (I didn't realise I liked them so much), and a fair amount of Australian music.

DON'T MAKE ME DESTROY YOU!

Can't really comment on that, but I know that even the best lyrics don't make up for bad music.

hey bro, this is a really cool idea for a thread, i dont know how to to the list thing like you have but even if i could it would be different cause our comp is a family one.

it would probably look like this

The Tide - Neurosis
Reclamation (the only good track off the new album) - Lamb of God
Cape Fear - Fantomas
Dehumanization - Meshuggah (one of the best grooves ever in the 2nd half)
God's Away On Business - Tom Waits
Incense & Peppermints - Strawberry Alarm Clock
A Perfect Circle - Weak and Powerless
The Art of Dying - Gojira

what do u reckon

It's just a playlist in iTunes.
