the "power sponge" didnt do anything for me when I tried it. some say it does very little.

You don't need an attenuator for a SS amp. If you want to attenuate it you can just get a high wattage pot. SS amps are fine with high impedance loads and attenuators are for absorbing wattage while keeping the ohm-age constant.

Hey i just got the 75W and have no idea what to set the power sponge at. 50% ??? I realize this is probably a stupid question but I really don't even know what they do.
