God I hate how earphones seem to break so often!
So, my most recent and longest lasting pair just gave up on me earlier today and I need new ones. So I thought I'd come to the pit... as you do.
Any recommendations?

EDIT: And preferably below £15ish

And don't you dare say Google

I'm using some iPod headphones at the minute (which I think are shocking.... in a bad way). I've had a pair of pink JVC headphones twice from Argos and they served me well. Nice amount of bass on them and they lasted a while.

Make sure sound comes out of them and you're A' Okay

Ugh. Skull candy suck. Get a regular pair of Sony earbuds with the ear clip. They cost $10 here.

i cant recommend you any earbuds, seeing as they all have terrible sound quality unless you spend a lot on them
then at that point you can buy some good headphones

I just use sotck iPod ones that have lasted me over a year. For at home I spent about $100 dollars on some good bose sound cancelling over the ear headphones which are amazing.

I third this motion. I got a very nice pair of Sennheisers for around 20 quid that have amazing quality and will probably never need to replace.

it has a really good distortion and clean sound a little to much hum in the background but i guess thats why they call them humbuckers"

You get what you pay for, and i bet you're the kind of person that wraps your earphones around the iPod "nice and tight". This damages them

In all honesty, i dont think they make headphones that last long. They have to go through so much in our pockets and wrapped around our iPods lol.

The only type that never break for me are big proper headphones. Some nice AKG's would be nice
#15
Nope. Don't wrap them at all for this exact reason

And I would get headphones rather than earphones if I didn't look such a twat in them...
And also, Gumys are horrible, I like the ones with the rubber end bits, they give much better quality sound.

Cheers though guys

sound quality > looks

or at least i would think seeing as im on a GUITAR FORUM
it surprises me how little people really do care about sound quality

I got a really good pair of Sennheiser earphones for £14.

Fanatstic bass for earphones.

The point of underground bands is their not popular or famous most of the time. Thus there is a good chance they suck.
