Hey, I'm trying to learn some easy songs in Drop C, I really like bands like disturbed and shinedown, three days grace etc. (I do however hate slipknot, just they don't appeal to me). So any suggestions?
My gear:

Memphis les paul (fixin it up as we speak!)
Schecter C1 plus
Ibanez RX 240 (been sold)
Peavey envoy 110 (Pretty dang good!)
Some washburn acoustic...

Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow is the easiest BFMV song. The Air I Breathe is one of the easier All That Remains songs.

Prelude by Killswitch engage, it doesnt get a whole lot easier then that. Plus the song transitions into Soilborn, so you can knock two off right there. Back when i learned them im pretty sure i learned em' in drop c, so im sure you can find the tabs on here probably.

The stuff off of System Of A Down's first three albums (System Of A Down, Toxicity, and Steal This Album) are all in drop c, and they are relatively easy to play.

That's in C#.

TS: Rose of Sharyn, Arms of Sorrow, My Curse and My Last Serenade, all by Killswitch Engage and seem to be pretty easy to me, good practice for various things and shouldn't take you too long to learn.

Holy Diver - Killswitch Engage (I think Dio plays in C too)

There's no point in mentioning any other songs since most that come to mind have been mentioned.

No means of being a sponsor here, but Five Finger Death Punch has various songs in Drop C as well.

Born of Osiris - Open Arms to Damnation (they're deathcore, but it's a fun and easy (enough) song to play)
Born of Osiris - Bow Down (Most easy song I can think of in Drop C)

The Human Abstract stuff isn't easy... but it'll definitely make you better. A fun song is Vela, Together We Await the Storm. The sweeps in that song will increas your finger stretches alot. Trust me. And you'll be able to switch positions better.

As Blood Runs Black - My Fears Have Become Phobias. It's also a deathcore song (but more metalcore) but it's still easy and fun. You'll get better at trills.

the GazettE - Toguro. It's J-rock, but it's a really good song that's easy to play. You'll probably have to figure it out by ear since it's most likely not tabbed out yet.

Anything by The Faceless. They're a tech-death band, but it's hard and will make you alot better if you can learn to play it.

If you're willing to tune to D Standard, you can get some Symphony X in there as well. It's not easy. Especially the solo's but it will no doubt make you at least 2x better in rhythm, chords, and lead. And if you can learn the solo's... kudos to you.

He didn't say they were, and depends on what bands, hardcore has a decent range of guitar styles, most of which suck =P but a lot use drop d or c.
Soon, death metal's drums will be so fast only computers will be able to listen to it.

94? Not bad. It shall improve >=)
