Hey I'm alittle confused with the wiring at the moment. Im replacing my Epi LP standard pups with some GFS humbuckers. The Epi Pups only have a white hot and black(?) ground wire coming out connected to the volume pot for each respected pickup. The GFS pickup has 5 different wires: green wire, red and white wire stuck together, black wire, and a silver shielded wire. In the directions, it says the black is ground, the silver is ground, the green is +, and the connected red and white has no contact for a humbucker.

So basically... does this mean... solder the silver shielded and the red wires to the grounded position (black?) wire on the epi, and then solder the green wire to the hot wire position, (white wire on the epiphone), and then leave the connected white and red wires alone??

It means solder the silver (bare) wire and the black wire to the back of the volume pot (ground), and then solder the green wire to the hot wire position, (where the white wire was on the epiphone), and then leave the connected white and red wires alone.
