I discovered this playing yesterday, sounds really exotic, it has one diffirent note from phrygian, anybody know?

sounds like a melodic minor scale but starting on the 2nd scale degree perhaps..

no melodic minor has no consecutive half steps (1,b2,7)

2nd degree would be 1,b2,b3,4,5,6,b7,
