The Dillinger Escape Plan and Protest The Hero come to mind...

Architects have some pretty technical stuff, but not all of there stuff is driven by technicality.

EDIT -

To the guy above -
Emmure are an okay band, but hardly technical. Chugchugchuggachug-sqeaullll-chugchugchug on dropped A# isn't technical.

BTBAM are okay, not the most technical band on earth, and to me anyways all thier songs sound the same. Yes, hate me for saying it. But I believe I'm allowed to have an opinion.

Behold The Arctopus? They're crap musically, but they are really technical, from what I've heard.
I deeply regret the 6661 in my username. Siiiigh. Damn you, 14 year old me, you edgy little bastard.

The Faceless (if you call them deathcore), Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, The Human Abstract, BTBAM, Darkest Hour is pretty crazy for metalcore, All Shall Perish,
#7
If you're talking technical as in shredding, All Shall Perish, especially on the album Awaken the Dreamers. If you mean technical as in riffage, either Beneath the Massacre or The Faceless. I don't really consider BTBAM to be metalcore or deathcore but I'll mention them as well.

Metalcore is rarely technical except in the solos and leads.

EDIT: The Human Abstract and Protest the Hero are in the same boat as BTBAM but I'll throw them out as well.

Isn't The Faceless considered Technical Death Metal?

Which really makes no sense at all to me. Bring me the horizon sounds just like them.

Whaaat? Don't draw comparisons between bands if you've only heard one song and obviously weren't really paying attention.

I take it you didn't go to the Faceless show, if you're questioning Tony Danza.

The fact that you didn't get that the Emmure post was sarcasm and then saying BTBAM isn't very technical and all of their songs sound the same makes me hate you.

If you ask me, who gives a damnabout technicality...if you aren't Meshuggah or The Dillinger Escape Plan, then it doesn't help make your band sound any better or different.

i wouldn't consider winds of plague technical at all
they have solos but thats as technical as it gets
#30
winds of plague is so epic though.

oh, and Dillinger has one of the best live shows ever.

their guitarist smashed his guitar all over the stage within 20 seconds of the beginning of the set because it wasnt working.

a couple songs later he climbed on top of his full stack and jumped off.

their vocalist climbed up the PA, which was about 20 feet, and he had a broken arm.

needless to say, **** got nuts.

there were so many things wrong with that post, not least because you didn't spot the guy's blatant sarcasm above.

B...TA are brilliant musically, so -1 on that count again. they are NOWHERE near -core though.

and i know i'm a fan, but if you think BTBAM's too samey and repetitive, you need some ear checks.

TDEP, Psyopus, The Red Chord, SikTh are all technical.

your opinions are proven completely irrelevant because that is one of the most ignorant things i've seen on this forum

and to the guy above me, august burns red isn't technical at all

Playing completely different crap with strange looking instruments is not avant-garde.

It's hilarious.

i'm just saying, the music they play is very unique and they're obviously very good at what they're going for.
i, for one, am not a fan.
