All the Beatles albums (except maybe let it be) was released in the 60's and I think the best Stones stuff came out in the early 70's.

So Beatles win (IMO)

Poll?
Gear:
Fender Stratocaster
Silvertone 1448L
TC Electronic Polytune

OP included a common misconception. The Beatles actually came from lesser means and the record label dressed them up. The Stones were from money and they wanted a bad-boy image.

Beatles.

I like them both. I would rather enjoy both of the band's music than try to compare them.

How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.
