hey there... I have a digitech rp350 and am looking for a new amp. If I just get a speaker cabinet with no head with it, would it produce much noise? The digitech has a nice volume to its output and i wondered if it would work right

No...you can't plug pedals into cabs and expect them to work...doesn't work like that.

You'd need some sort of poweramp. I assume your rp350 can work as a preamp? If not you would need a preamp, too. And then you could just buy a new amp.
Gear:
Ibanez SZ320 -> Höfner Analouge Delay -> MXR GT-OD -> Laney GH50L -> T.C.Electronics GMajor -> Line6 4x12 w/ Celestion G12T-75

you need a power amp to drive a speaker.

you'd need a poweramp as well as speakers. get an atomic reactor amp and youll be set (even though its pretty pricey)

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

just make sure that you are not going to under power anything, if anything, just go with a combo amp
