I'm looking to upgrade my guitar, and I'd like to know what everyone here recommends!

My only requirements are:
Either a hardtail, tune-o-matic/stop tail bridge, or Bigsby
Relatively light
Double cutaway

I have a budget of around $400.
I need something that will get good tones for grunge and alt.
I'm playing through a Peavey Windsor Studio.

So tell me UG, what should I look at it?
Thanks

Strat. Anything with single-coils is good for grunge in my experience.

Maybe a strat or an Eastwood hi-flier.
